The Woodland-Davis Clean Water Agency is a joint powers authority formed in 2009 to construct and manage a Regional Water Treatment Facility (RWTF) that provides a sustainable, high-quality water supply for the Cities of Woodland and Davis, and UC Davis. Today, the Agency serves more than two-thirds of the urban population of Yolo County, CA. It also serves UC Davis, an agency partner and one of the nation's preeminent research facilities. The Agency is overseen by a six-member Board comprised of two City Council Members from each city, and two non-voting members, one each from UC Davis and Yolo County.
